Tanis first joined the firm’s Banbury office in December 2019 as a paralegal for the family team. She then trained with the firm and qualified as a solicitor in the family team in April 2023.

Tanis completed her legal studies with the University of Law and prior to this studied Chemistry at the University of Reading.

Tanis supports and guides her clients through the divorce/separation process with an understanding that this is often an emotionally difficult time for them. Tanis’ clients appreciate her empathy and she prides herself on taking a proactive approach to resolving issues. While keeping the client’s best interests at the forefront of her mind, Tanis is solution focused and will conduct matters in a way that aims to minimise conflict and help clients achieve their desired outcome.

Personal interests

In her spare time, Tanis can mostly be found running around a netball court and plays in two social leagues in Oxfordshire. Tanis is an avid fan of musical theatre (both watching and performing), handlettering/calligaphy and spending time with her partner and his children.
